This Privacy Policy explains how Aponte Enterprises LLC, doing business as Vicindo ("Vicindo," "we," "us"), collects, uses and shares information when you visit vicindo.com or use the Vicindo service (the "Service"). We do not sell personal information.
1. Two kinds of information
- Account information. Information about the people who sign up for and use Vicindo (Owners, Admins and Members). We decide how this is used, as described here.
- Customer Data. Information our business customers put into the Service about their own workers, contacts and resources, such as names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, availability, tags and internal notes, plus job addresses and details they enter. We process Customer Data on our customer's behalf and under their instructions. If you are a worker or contact whose information a business stored in Vicindo, please contact that business about your information; we will help them respond.
2. Information we collect
| Category | Examples | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Account details | Name, email address, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), organization name, role | You |
| Customer Data | Location records, contact details, tags, availability, blackout dates, notes, templates, job addresses and details | Our customers and their users |
| Job history | Jobs (address, date/time, details, status, who was assigned), searches run, notifications sent, and recipients' Available/Unavailable responses with timestamps; kept 90 days (or 90 days after the job date, if later) | Generated by your use |
| Recipient responses | When someone answers through a response link in a notification email, or by replying to a text message: their answer (including text replies) and the time; for response links, also their IP address (used only to prevent abuse and kept about one day) | Notification recipients |
| Billing | Plan, billing status, and the billing contact and payment details you give Stripe. We do not see or store full card numbers | You, via Stripe |
| Technical data | IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, timestamps, error reports (with email addresses, phone numbers and street addresses masked before they reach our error-monitoring provider) and uptime checks | Collected automatically by our hosting and monitoring providers |
| Cookies | Cookies needed to keep you signed in and secure. We count page visits with cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics (Vercel Web Analytics). One first-party cookie (vicindo_src, 90 days) remembers how you first arrived (campaign tags, first page, referring site) so we know which channels bring new customers; it is read only by Vicindo and saved with your organization if you sign up. No advertising or tracking cookies. |

3. How we use information
- To provide the Service: show maps, match addresses to coordinates, calculate drive times, run searches and send the notification emails you choose to send.
- To manage accounts, trials and billing, including emails about your trial, plan, usage limits and security.
- To secure the Service, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To understand and improve the Service, using aggregated or de-identified information where possible.
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms.
We do not use Customer Data for advertising, and we do not sell or rent personal information.
4. How we share information
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of it, and as required by law.
| Provider | Purpose | Information involved |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Database and sign-in | Account information and Customer Data |
| Vercel | Website and application hosting; cookieless page-visit analytics and performance measurement | Technical data; data passing through the app |
| Mapbox | Maps, address lookup and drive-time calculation | Addresses and coordinates entered or saved |
| Resend | Email delivery | Recipient names and email addresses, email content (notification, response and job emails) |
| Stripe | Payments and billing | Billing contact and payment details |
| Sentry | Error monitoring | Technical data and error details, with email addresses, phone numbers and street addresses masked |
| UptimeRobot | Uptime monitoring | None (it only checks a public status page) |
We may also disclose information to comply with a legal obligation, protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply.
4a. Text messages and mobile numbers
- When a business uses texting, we send job-related text messages to the mobile numbers it stores, through our messaging provider (Telnyx), and process the replies.
- We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers or text-messaging opt-in information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Mobile information is used only to deliver the job messages the business sends and to handle replies and opt-outs.
- Reply STOP to stop all texts from Vicindo, or HELP for help. Every business's texts come from the same Vicindo number, so STOP stops texts from every business that uses Vicindo. You'll still get emails. To get texts again, text START to that number and turn texts back on from your worker page. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
4b. Worker pages
Workers can receive a private link to a page showing their own job offers, assigned jobs and availability. The page shows only that worker's information, opening it records nothing, and links expire and can be reset by the business. Link activity is not sent to analytics or error-monitoring tools in identifiable form.
5. Where information is stored
Our providers store and process information in the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to the United States.
6. How long we keep information
- Job history: 90 days (or 90 days after a job's scheduled date, if later), then deleted automatically.
- Account information and Customer Data: while the account is active.
- Expired, unpaid trials: up to 90 days after the trial ends, then deleted after notice to the Owner.
- After an account is closed: deleted within 90 days, except where we must keep records for legal, tax or accounting reasons (for example, billing records), and in backups until they expire.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls that separate each organization's data, role-based permissions, and providers with recognized security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your choices and rights
- Account users can view and update their name, password and preferences in the Service. Owners can manage their organization's data and users.
- You may ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information by emailing support@vicindo.com. We will verify the request and respond within 45 days, or as required by applicable law. Requests about Customer Data are handled with the business that controls it.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We will not discriminate against you for using them.
- Notification emails are sent by the business that uses Vicindo. To stop receiving them, or about a response you gave through one, contact that business.
9. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. For material changes we will notify account Owners by email or in the Service before they take effect. The effective date above shows the latest version.
